Saints vs. 49ers: New Orleans on Road Monday Night

The New Orleans Saints have already proven they are the best home team in the NFL now they need to play that well on the road. Tonight the Saints will take on the 49ers at San Francisco. Many NFL experts are predicting a New Orleans blow out tonight after the 49ers were completely humiliated at Seattle last Sunday.

Forget about last Sunday’s loss at Seattle. The 49ers are still one of the best young teams in the NFL. San Francisco has one of the best defenses in the NFC. The team has used their last 3 drafts to build up a once old defensive unit. Mike Singeltary will not allow his squad to have back to back poor performances.

49ers need Alex Smith to step up soon or it might be time to call him a bust and turn the team over to backup QB David Carr. The Niner brass has been extremely patient with Smith but you can tell that Smith is falling out of favor. NFL handicappers agree that tonight will be a big night for alex Smith and his young San Francisco 49ers.
